The Paleo diet is such a sacrifice, right?  I mean, damn, what’s there to eat?  Well, here’s yet another meal I had to suffer through — some pay-off for spending a tough hour of intervals in the fixie saddle yesterday evening, huh?

That’s bacon and avocado on the side.  In the free-range egg scramble are mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes and raw cheddar cheese.  In the glass we have some Rex-Goliath Cabernet Sauvignon.

This is truly a monk’s life of deprivation, I tell you.

  1. I’ll suffer along with you in a few hours, can”t go wrong with bacon!
I really enjoy your post Keith, I have a Surly Karate monkey i enjoy riding, but it usually has a the burly on back with my 2 y/o.

  2. Looks good Keith! One of my weekly staples (2 or 3 times a week) is a 3 egg scramble with diced peppers & onions (plus mushrooms if I have them). If I’m feeling really ambitious, I’ll turn it into an omelet with some cheddar cheese.

Great meal anytime of the day!

  3. I made some french-style scrambled eggs. It’s taken me a long time to enjoy eggs but I have them regularly on the weekend or in bizarro Gironda drinks. 😉

    • 50k a year oughtta cover it. I’ll only work approximately 4 hours a day, though. However, I will throw in personal training and all grocery shopping for free. You have to live in a killer biking area, though (which I know you do), have room for 4 mutts and a beta fish, and have a nice sized barn for all my “toys”. Deal?

      • let me get back to you. I’ll work on the funds thing -that may take a while. I haven’t found a rich old guy with a cough yet, but hope springs eternal….

I can probably buy one of the depressed houses next door for the mutts and toys. I’d take the rent out of your check.

        • Hey, this is definitely beginning to sound much better than performing verbal tap dances to the bemusement of the FDA 🙂 Next up on American FDA Idol, Keith Norris spins a dubious tale of his most recent validation efforts…

  4. Chris over at Conditioning Research just posted about a study linking (professional) cycling to loss of bone density. The key phrase seems to be “extensive endurance training with NON WEIGHT-BEARING exercise”.
