“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” – Carl Jung Water therapy rocks for injury recovery (for horses, too); this we know. But does it also have the potential to aid in hypertrophy gains? Readers of Theory to Practice realize that there is a difference (a HUGE… [More…]
Some of the most gratifying interactions I have in the realm of S&C / fitness / wellness are with extremely driven entrepreneurs.
So now, everybody can be happy. The old-school S&C guy gets his “intent to move fast as possible” concentrics, and the Super Slow camp gets the ultimate in safety. Taking a deep-dive into the subject of eccentric training. Go check it out, implement, and get your swole on. And speaking of getting your swole on: here’s… [More…]
The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. -Nelson Mandela Hmmm…that guy on the front row doesn’t look too concerned about missing a workout or three… So I have this love/hate thing going on with traveling, and maybe you do, too. You see, I love going… [More…]
“There is always an easy solution to every human problem — neat, plausible, and wrong.” – H.L. Mencken Yet another application of the multi-versatile ARXFit technology that I employ at Efficient Exercise is to use it as the go-to, heavy force production movement when utilizing the Complex, Contrast, and (my favorite) the French Contrast methods. Wait…… [More…]
