Resistance-exercise-based High Intensity Interval Training — it’s the Efficient Exercise bedrock training philosophy.  It also constitutes the underpinning of my own personal training regimen.  Properly programmed and implemented, it is, bar none, the most efficient, effective (and safe!!)  method I know to burn fat and put on substantial muscle.

Can Efficient Exercise-like results be achieved without using Efficient Exercise’s tools and programming methods?  You bet.  Hell, I proved that myself during my initial 30-odd years in the iron game.  The difference now is that I’ve drastically cut my training time while, at the same time, having vastly improved my results.  That’s the essence of leveraging modern technology to achieve ancestral wellness.  Older and wiser, you might say 😉


And just what does “leveraging modern technology to achieve ancestral wellness” mean anyway?  Well, the way I usually explain this to folks is by using the analogy of including supplemental vitamin D within an otherwise solid Paleo/Primal-leaning diet foundation.  Could you get all the vitamin D you needed from sun exposure alone?  Sure — if you live within the proper latitude year round, and stay out in the sun long enough.   Does your current lifestyle allow for that?  Probably not.  The fix?  A very simple, modern, intervention.

    I was wondering if you had any response to the very hostile review that the folks at Renaissance Exercise gave to some equipment that you all promote – the ARX

    • None worth discussing. It’s that old, grade-school kid thing of attempting to bring somebody down so as to build yourself up. This is a tough business to make a living in and, unfortunately, some drop to unsavory tactics in an attempt to “succeed”.
